Southern treasures cruise

Spend the day exploring Mljet Island's striking landscape, marked by limestone and alder forests, crystal clear lakes, and a national park. Visit the island's seawater lakes, the peaceful, tiny St Mary's Island in the middle of one lake, the church, and the monastery. Walk or rent a bike to explore these stunning lakes. After breakfast, depart towards Dubrovnik, the most famous town in Croatia and, for many, the highlight of this cruise. The Irish writer George Bernard Shaw called Dubrovnik "heaven on earth": its beauty and history have earned this town many medals, titles, and descriptions like a pearl of the Adriatic Sea, Venice of the South, and the city which time forgot. The old town, surrounded by city walls, is packed with a wealth of artistic treasures – palaces, churches, monasteries, and museums – as well as restaurants, cafés, pubs, and shops selling local jewellery, pottery, or souvenirs made from coral. Enjoy a late morning departure for the beautiful island of Sipan or the small town of Trstenik on the Peljesac Peninsula. Take your time at leisure as you explore local beaches and vineyards before a special Captain's dinner on board. Overnight in the port.

Departure towards the picturesque island of Korcula, a lively island in the Dubrovnik region with colourful buildings, pleasant beaches, and great food! Enjoy a scenic cruise along the coast to the Paklinski Islands near Hvar, the most extended island in the Adriatic. Here you'll have a chance to explore and enjoy lunch before continuing to Hvar. Hvar is a unique destination, not only due to its stunning beauty and clear sea but primarily because of its cultural diversity. The Renaissance cathedral has its original tower and the oldest community theatre in Europe, founded in 1612. For those in good shape, Hvar offers an additional challenge - on the hill above the town, the fortress Spanjola has dominated for centuries, solid and stable. For restless individuals who are always looking for fun, numerous restaurants and bars open late into the night. Remember to buy some island lavender from local stalls. Overnight in Hvar.

The next stop is the island of Brac. The most famous (and most photographed) beach in Dalmatia is Zlatni Rat (Golden Horn). A shingle bar that moves according to the wind, it's an excellent place for a swim stop. A 10-minute walk away lies Bol, a typical fishermen's village that kept its atmosphere despite becoming a popular touristic spot. After lunch, we take off to Split, one of Croatia's most exciting cities. Stroll along its streets and admire the glorious Diocletian's Palace, built in the 4th century. Extraordinarily well preserved, this former imperial residence is not the core of the old town. Split is full of cafes and restaurants serving local specialities. Night in Split.
