A small fishing community, Trstenik can be found nestled in the folds of the Peljesac peninsula's rolling hills. In addition to being one of the most well-known areas in Croatia for vineyards and wineries, this region is also home to producing some of the country's most acclaimed wines of the highest quality. In addition, Peljesac is the origin of the well-known Zinfandel variety that is exported from this region to Napa Valley.
In this beautiful wine region, it is extremely unlikely that you will find a bottle of wine that is of poor quality. It is the home of some of the most well-known wine producers in the world, but even the most modest producers can turn out excellent bottles of wine. Plavac Mali is the most famous variety of grapes, and Dingac and Postup are the two wines most well-known for being made from this variety.
